55 Water Street
Brooklyn, NY 11201

In May of 2017, the Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS) opened a brand new, 3,200 square foot outpost in the transformed and repurposed 19th century Empire Stores in Dumbo, focusing its gallery space on the waterfront's past and future. BHS was a recipient of a Regional Economic Development Council grant (REDC), which provided critical funds to support the project's completion. The Councils are public-private partnerships dedicated to job creation and innovation throughout the city and state.

Join us at the Brooklyn Historical Society for a presentation and Q&A by Deborah Schwartz, President of BHS, and Winston Fisher, NYC REDC Co-Chair and Partner at Fisher Brothers, followed by a tour of the space and exhibition.

After the tour, please join us for drinks and light food at nearby bar and restaurant, Superfine.

This is an exclusive offering with limited capacity. Attendees will be selected on a first come, first come basis. Do not RSVP unless you can absolutely attend.

We are instituting a strict policy for no-shows/last minute cancellations, where you will be unable to attend future exclusive events. Read more here.
