SUMMARY:ABNY Talks: New York City Charter Revision Commission
DESCRIPTION:The New York City Charter Revision Commission was established in December 2024 to review the New York City Charter and determine how to make New York City’s government more transparent and responsive to the needs of local residents. \nNow that the New York City Charter Revision Commission has released their adopted final report\, ABNY will host a conversation with the Commission Chair Richard Buery and Executive Director Alec Schierenbeck to discuss the five ballot proposals that will be on the ballot this November. \nAttendees will have the opportunity to hear how the Commission selected the final five ballot questions\, discuss their potential impacts\, and if passed\, what they would mean for New York City. \nThis event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. \nDoors open at 9:00a for networking and coffee. Program from 9:00-10:30a. \n  \nRegistration is now closed for this event. \n
