DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to a tour of the TWA Hotel at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport on Wednesday\, May 4\, from 5:00-7:00pm. \nThe TWA Hotel is JFK’s only on-airport hotel. Over more than two years of careful restoration\, MCR and MORSE Development have reignited the magic of Eero Saarinen’s landmark 1962 TWA Flight Center\, reimagining it as a first-class hotel. \nWilliam White\, Chief Financial Officer at MCR Hotels and ABNY YP Steering Committee member will lead the tour. Following the tour\, we will convene for drinks on the pool deck overlooking the runways (weather permitting). \nIf you are interested\, please sign up here by Monday\, May 2 at 9:00 a.m. Please note\, space is limited and attendees will be selected at random. DESCRIPTION:ABNY Young Professionals will host a virtual Policy Brief on the New York State Fiscal Year 2023 Budget with Rebecca Lewis\, Deputy State Politics Reporter\, City & State New York\, moderated by her colleague Jeff Coltin\, City Hall Bureau Chief\, on Thursday\, May 19 from 2:00-3:00 PM.  \nMs. Lewis and Mr. Coltin will discuss what was included in the $216 billion FY 2023 Executive Budget\, including investment areas such as health care\, capital plan and infrastructure\, and environment and energy. They also will address what the budget means for New Yorkers. \nReporting from Albany during budget negotiations this year\, Ms. Lewis kept a close eye on key issues and compromises and will share her experience in this virtual session with ABNY YPs. An active member of the ABNY YP Network\, Mr. Coltin will guide the conversation and address implications for New York City. \nPlease RSVP and submit your questions for Ms. Lewis by end of day on Wednesday\, May 18.
