DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to an American Institute of Architects New York (AIA New York) walking tour of SoHo on Tuesday\, August 24\, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Tim Hayduk\, Lead Design Educator with AIA New York\, will walk YPs through the neighborhood\, exploring its rich history and distinctive mid-19th century architecture\, as well as creative examples of adaptive reuse\, urban planning\, and development. \nThis tour will contextualize the discussion around the SoHo/NoHo Neighborhood Plan to establish a new special district to modernize the area’s zoning\, which entered the City’s formal public review process (ULURP) in May 2021.
