DESCRIPTION:Join ABNY Young Professionals for a tour of The High Line on October 26 at 4:30 p.m. \nThe High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. Saved from demolition by neighborhood residents and the City of New York\, the High Line opened in 2009 as a hybrid public space where visitors experience nature\, art\, and design. With the close partnership of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation\, the High Line has transformed into a public space where every New Yorker and visitor is welcome and can experience the intersection of nature\, art\, and design. You can walk through gardens\, view art\, experience a performance\, savor delicious food\, or connect with friends and neighbors-all while enjoying a unique perspective of New York City. \nIf you are interested\, please sign up here by 12:00 p.m. on Monday\, October 23. Please note\, space is limited. All who signed up will be notified by Tuesday\, October 24 if they have been selected to participate or not. \nWe will meet on Gansevoort entrance of the High Line. Walking from street level\, we will take the stairs at the park entrance on Gansevoort and Washington streets.
