Please RSVP by Friday\, February 14. \nDoors Open: 8:30 a.m.\, Program Begins: 9:00 a.m. \n  \n  \n  \n\nAbout Vennela Yadhati: \nVennela Yadhati is a clean energy professional with over 15 years of diverse and well-rounded experience leading and devising commercial strategy\, development\, origination\, and execution of full spectrum of clean energy projects from renewable power to power-to-x (P2X) such as green hydrogen and e-fuels to electric vehicles. She has developed and deployed approx. 2\,000 MW of utility and distributed scale renewable energy projects including solar PV\, land-based wind\, and battery energy storage systems. In her current role as the Vice President\, Renewable Project Development\, Vennela leads NYPA’s Renewables team to successfully develop business plans to advance new initiatives and strategies\, and execute renewable energy and storage projects. Vennela serves as a Member on the Board of Sustainable Westchester\, a non-profit consortium of local governments within Westchester County\, NY\, that facilitates effective collaboration on sustainability and clean energy initiatives\, and on the Planning Board for the City of White Plains\, NY. She holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and is a registered P.E. in the states of Florida\, Missouri\, and New York.

DESCRIPTION:ABNY Young Professionals are invited to volunteer with God’s Love We Deliver\, a non-profit that cooks and home-delivers 17\,000 nutritious\, medically tailored meals to people too sick to shop or cook for themselves each weekday. \nYP volunteers will lend their support in working in the kitchen\, and assist with packaging meals and food prep (e.g. chopping onions\, making meatballs\, ladling soup\, peeling potatoes\, scooping baked goods or preparing fresh herbs). \nIf you are interested in volunteering\, please sign up by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday\, February 15th.
