DESCRIPTION:Join ABNY Young Professionals for an exclusive tour of NYC’s Department of Transportation Sign Shop on Tuesday\, March 4th 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. \nNYC DOT’s Sign Shop creates the street signs installed throughout the five boroughs of New York City. These signs serve a variety of purposes\, including curbside parking regulations\, intersection control signs\, guide signs\, and street names signs. \nThe tour will focus on showing how NYC street signs are made from start to finish. We will start with how it is cut from a sheet of blank aluminum to how it is silk screened or printed. The whole process will be described and physically done in front of the group. \nPlease note that this is a MORNING tour. If you are interested in joining the tour\, please sign up by 12:00 p.m. on Friday\, February 21. Please note space is limited with attendees selected by lottery. Hannah has 12 years of consulting\, project management and sales experience\, serving clients in the healthcare and government sector. She has served as Chief of Staff to IBM Americas General Manager and has led some of IBM’s largest clients (ranging from $50 million to $200+ million in revenue). \nIn 2022\, Hannah graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with concentrations in Leadership & Change Management and Strategy. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Boston University where she played on the Division I Women’s Lacrosse team. Hannah has spent her life giving back to local communities through Girl Scouts\, earning the highest honor (Gold Award). Her volunteerism is focused on education\, college readiness and mentorship. Hannah currently serves as a mentor and Co-Chairs the iMentor Young Executive Board.
