We are excited to invite you to a hard hat tour of the MTA’s East Side Access project on Wednesday, October 13 from 9:30-11:30 AM.
East Side Access (ESA) is expanding, strengthening, and adding redundancy to New York’s regional rail network, and modernizing crucial infrastructure. When complete, ESA will enable direct access to a brand new concourse and terminal on the east side of Manhattan for riders on all 11 branches of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), easing overcrowding in and around Penn Station and connecting the region like never before. The tour leader will guide the group through the new Madison Concourse and Manhattan terminal stopping at points of interest along the way.
If you are interested, please sign up here by Monday, October 4. Please note, space is limited and attendees will be selected at random. All entrants will be notified by Tuesday, October 5, regardless of whether or not they have been selected.
In addition to standard personal protective equipment, each participant must also wear a mask throughout the tour. We hope that you can join us!
