Please join us on Monday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. for a What’s On Tap? with Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine.
The Borough Presidents serve as the executive officials of each borough, working with the Mayor in preparing the annual executive budget submitted to the City Council and proposing borough budget priorities directly to the council; reviewing and commenting on major land use decisions and proposed sites for city facilities within their respective boroughs; monitoring and modifying the delivery of city services within their boroughs; and engaging in strategic planning for their boroughs. Borough Presidents also can introduce legislation, oversee the Boroughs’ community boards, and make appointments to key boards and commissions, including the Panel for Education Policy, City Planning Commission, and NYC Employees’ Retirement System.
BP Levine will share his priorities as Manhattan Borough President and vision for New York City.
Please RSVP and submit your questions for BP Levine by 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 1. You will receive a confirmation email by EOD Friday.
Drinks and light food will be provided. You must be 21+ to attend. We hope that you can join us!
