Location: *PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION* Rethink Food – 180 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10005 *PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION*
Program Description: ABNY YP volunteers are invited to support Rethink Food. The team is seeking individuals to lend their support in volunteers to help in their commissary kitchen.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Portioning/labeling
- Peeling vegetables/juicing fruits
- Washing and picking herbs/greens
- Sorting donations
- Prepping Food
- Packing meals
What to Expect
1. Please wear a t-shirt, long pants and closed-toed shoes, and a hair covering or hat. *Volunteers who do not follow the dress code will be turned away.
2. Have a water bottle (sustainable one if possible) to stay hydrated.
3. You will be in working active kitchen please understand the risks associated.
