ABNY YP
Join ABNY YP for a tour of 34th Avenue Open Streets in Jackson Heights on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m.
New York City Council Member and Parks and Recreation Committee Chair, Shekar Krishnan will lead the tour. Spanning 26 blocks and featured in The New York Times, 34th Avenue is the “gold standard” open street in New York City. With safe, car-free school plazas as centerpieces, the 34th Avenue Open Street has unlocked almost eight new acres of public space in a community that ranks among the lowest for park space per capita in New York City. Following the tour, we will convene for drinks at a local.
If you are interested, please sign up here by Friday, April 21. Please note, space is limited and attendees will be selected at random. All entrants will be notified by Monday, April 24, regardless of whether or not they have been selected.
