ABNY is pleased to welcome the Commissioner of the NYC Department Sanitation (DSNY) Gregory Anderson to our next At The Table event. He will discuss his priorities and vision for the City’s municipal waste management agency that keeps New York City clean, safe, and healthy.
Commissioner Anderson oversees nearly 10,000 municipal employees who collect 24 million pounds of waste each day and ensure that New York’s 6,000 miles of streets remain clean and clear. He returned to DSNY earlier this year, after nearly a decade of prior service, during which he helped shape the City’s “Trash Revolution” — from advancing waste containerization and mandatory curbside composting to improving public space cleanliness.
This event is free and exclusively offered to ABNY Member organizations and their staff only. Attendees from these groups can RSVP through the link in their inbox or contact jchen@abny.org.
Please note, due to limited space, this event is not available to our ABNY Young Professionals or ABNY Women networks.
