You have been cordially invited to participate in a focus group session with the “New” New York Panel on Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. Part of the panel’s process is reaching out to experts and stakeholders, like you, to hear their perspectives on relevant topics (economic resilience, inclusive opportunity, street vibrancy, urban mobility, building/district use), for the city’s business districts (including but not limited to Midtown Manhattan).
The “New” New York Panel, convened by Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul, is tasked with developing strategies for the recovery and resilience of the city’s commercial districts—in response to challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, and longstanding and systemic challenges facing New York City and the region. Its core objective is to create vibrant, strong, and inclusive business districts in NYC, through the lenses of place, industry, and people.
The Zoom link will be shared the day before the event via email.
