What’s On Tap? with Jonathan Bowles, Center for an Urban Future

Please join us on Thursday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. for a What’s On Tap? with Center for an Urban Future’s Executive Director Jonathan Bowles, he will delve into one of the greatest untapped opportunities to create a more equitable economy in New York City: by expanding skills based hiring, the practice in which employers eliminate the degree requirement for some jobs and hire instead based on skills.

Mr. Bowles has been at the helm of the Center for an Urban Future for nearly two decades, elevating it into a pioneering force that propels progressive policies to address inequality, enhance economic mobility, and stimulate NYC’s economic growth. Under his guidance, the Center has solidified its reputation as an influential institution, producing pivotal reports that resonate with policymakers, business leaders, and nonprofit practitioners.
