2026 Spirit of ABNY

The ABNY Foundation established the Spirit of ABNY Award in 2007 to honor outstanding New Yorkers whose work and contributions to the city exemplify ABNY’s ethos of partnership and stewardship of New York City.

Each year, the Foundation also presents the Lew Rudin Founder’s Award to an individual who has made exceptional civic contributions, in memory of ABNY’s first chairman. Introduced in 2021, the David N. Dinkins Lifetime Achievement Award honors a New Yorker with exemplary record of service to New York City over their career. Proceeds from the Spirit of ABNY Awards support social, educational, and civic programs that enhance life across New York City’s five boroughs.
