ABNY Talks: New York City Charter Revision Commission

The New York City Charter Revision Commission was established in December 2024 to review the New York City Charter and determine how to make New York City’s government more transparent and responsive to the needs of local residents.

Now that the New York City Charter Revision Commission has released their adopted final report, ABNY will host a conversation with the Commission Chair Richard Buery and Executive Director Alec Schierenbeck to discuss the five ballot proposals that will be on the ballot this November.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear how the Commission selected the final five ballot questions, discuss their potential impacts, and if passed, what they would mean for New York City.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
