Policy Brief: Climate Change Litigation

Michael Burger, Executive Director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School, discussed the history of climate change court cases and how the issue has been litigated, both in the U.S. generally, and in New York specifically. Following the presentation, Ellis Calvin, Data Research Manager with the Regional Plan Association and one of the organization’s lead planners on climate change adaptation, moderated a Q&A session with Professor Burger.
