This month, ABNY YP Associates rolled up their sleeves with @billionoyster Project at Trust for @governorsisland ! 🦪

Oyster reefs once covered more than 220,000 acres of New York Harbor, and a single adult oyster filters about 50 gallons of water each day. The Billion Oyster Project’s mission is to bring those reefs back by engaging New Yorkers directly in critical work, with the goal of restoring a one billion oysters to our harbor by 2035. These efforts will result in cleaner water, more marine life, and a stronger, healthier waterfront for every New Yorker.
