ABNY Talks: Vaccine Equity in New York

ABNY and the Black NYC Task Force for Vaccine Equity and Education convened a panel on vaccine equity. Dr. Hazel Dukes, President, NAACP New York State Conference; Arva Rice, President & CEO, New York Urban League; Jennifer Jones Austin, CEO & Executive Director, FPWA; and Nina Turner, Founder, Amare Public Affairs; discussed the challenges of convincing New Yorkers to get vaccinated and how we can leverage trusted messengers and social media to disseminate information about the vaccine to communities that are hesitant to receive it.
