PowerZoom with U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

ABNY, in partnership with ABNY Women, hosted a PowerZoom with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand as part of a celebration of Women’s History Month. Senator Gillibrand, a tireless advocate for New York, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, discussed the Family and Medical Insurance Leave (FAMILY) Act. This recently introduced legislation will create a permanent, national, paid family and medical leave program and serve as a vital tool for long-term economic recovery.
