How did you get to where you are today?

As a Geography major in college, I was fascinated by the connections between people, and their natural and social environments. I was thrilled to discover a field where I could turn that interest into meaningful work. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside people who inspire me every day with their dedication and insight. Their support and mentorship have played a huge role in my growth, and I continue to learn from them as I develop in my career.

What are you most proud of?

I’m proud to be part of an organization that truly centers community voices in everything we do. The relationships we’ve built and the partnerships we’ve nurtured are the foundation of our work and it’s incredibly gratifying to watch a community’s vision come to life.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to work in your field?

Meaningful change takes time, and it requires both persistence and patience. It’s easy to get discouraged when results aren’t immediate, but eventually your efforts will add up!

When did you realize that you are a New Yorker?

I feel most like a New Yorker on those days when I leave my apartment without a plan and return 20,000 steps later with new memories, perhaps a new favorite restaurant, and renewed appreciation for all that New York has to offer.
